Connecticut employment workshops

Tom Maddison, senior vice president of Xerox Corporation, answers questions at the “Interviewing Best Practices” program April 3, part of the Back to Work! 2012 series at Norwalk (Conn.) Pubic Library’s South Norwalk branch. Organized by children’s librarian S. D. Harris, the series of workshops were designed to help those preparing to market themselves for the workforce or for entrepreneurial pursuits. Other topics included: “Fired! and Over 50: How to Overcome the Greatest Challenge in the Job Search”; “Ready, Set, Play, Educate: What It Takes to Become an Early Childhood Teacher”; and “Starting Your Own Business—Do You Have What it Takes?”
