Sustainable Construction: The renovation and expansion of the Lemieux Library was designed to achieve LEED Gold certification. Water runoff is captured and directed through two sculptural water features to infiltration at a rain garden, while a raised-floor access system allows an under-floor air supply and facilitates distribution of data and electrical infrastructure, and glass curtain walls and skylights offer abundant daylighting.
