Tye Preston Memorial Library, Canyon Lake, Texas
Design Details: The Wall of Honor mural, painted by Brent McCarthy, represents the library’s past, present, and future. The woman in the center is Tye Preston, namesake of the library and mother of the man who donated the land for the community’s previous library. “Built by the community, for the community” was the tagline for the campaign that raised funds for the building.
