Virginia welcomes Catherine Coulter
Beth Castaneda (right) laughs with her favorite author Catherine Coulter during a book signing at Christopher Newport University’s Ferguson Center for the Arts in Virginia October 27. Castaneda drove six hours to meet the New York Times bestselling author and to get her to sign 20 books. The program was sponsored by the Virginia Peninsula Literary Consortium, which consists of the public libraries of Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson and York County, and the academic libraries of Christopher Newport and Hampton universities, as well as Thomas Nelson Community College. Coulter’s visit was funded, in part, by a $1,250 grant from the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities.
