#ala12 Top Ten (ha!) Tweets - Day 4 (Monday): Mad Love edition

Printer-friendly versionPrint

Monday’s top tweets (once again, we couldn’t manage to pick just 10) have an end-of-summer-camp flavor. Librarians are already reflecting on the four days of planned and chance meetings, sessions and networking, work and fun. There’s also a few commitments to action in this batch, important Battledecks news, and mad love for all those who attended and made #ala12 great.

Also, don’t kill the king of Scotland. Nobody here endorses that.

Handler: "when you read Macbeth, you instantly turn to witchcraft and kill the king of Scotland. Everyone does." #ala12

I will never forget the #printz12 audience spontaneously bursting into the chorus of "Without Libraries We'd Be DUM." #ala12

Had a lovely time at #ALA12. If librarians ruled the world, the future would be a hell of a lot brighter.

And, because the @alaannual Twitter Maven lives to make dreams come true, one final bonus tweet:

Missed my goal of getting "top ten tweets" notice from @alaannual. Remains on my bucket list. Better luck next year
