The beginning of a LITA Interest Group: Code Year Interest Group

Printer-friendly versionPrint
How the Code Year discussion progressed at #alamw12 and a petition for an Interest Group took shape.

In this video, Members Andromeda Yelton and Shana McDanold talk about how the Code Year discussion progressed and about the Interest Group they are forming through LITA - they were able to collect all  of the signatures needed that afternoon. Andomeda and Shana also touch on the purpose of doing the Code Academy lessons and the importance of having librarian support groups as they learn these things together. They also highlight the ALA Connect group that Andromeda started and the PB Works wiki that Shana started for catcode.

Correction

Thanks!
