Glennan named ALA JSC representative

<p> Kathy Glennan, head of metadata creation and enhancement and music cataloger at the University of Maryland, has been named the new ALA representative to the <a href="www.rda-jsc.org/">Joint Steering Committee</a> for the Development of <a href="www.rdatoolkit.org/">RDA</a> (Resource Description and Access). The appointment is made by the Association for Library Collections &amp; Technical Services (<a href="http://www.ala.org/alcts">ALCTS</a>) based on a recommendation from its Cataloging and Metadata Management Section (<a href="http://www.ala.org/alcts/mgrps/camms">CaMMS</a>).&nbsp; Glennan replaces John Attig whose term ends June 30, 2013.</p>
