Cincinnati Festival Breaks Records

Ohio library mascots greet book lovers.

Ohio library mascots (from left) Tales the Dragon (Boone County Public Library), Booker the Reading Retriever (Kenton County Public Library), and Rufus the Library Reading Dog (Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County) greet book lovers in the Target Kids Corner as they entered the third annual “Books by the Banks: Cincinnati USA Book Festival” on October 17, 2009 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. The event featured 88 authors and was attended by 2,600, representing a 40% rise in attendance over last year and a 106% increase in book sales.
