Libraries in Harmony: Los Angeles Public Library, Silver Lake Branch

Los Angeles Public Library, Silver Lake Branch

While not necessarily part of a building proper, the landscaping of a library has a big impact on the user’s experience. It can also have a big impact on the greenness of a construction project by reducing pollution and promoting biodiversity.

Los Angeles Public Library expects to earn LEED certification credits at its new Silver Lake branch for its drought-tolerant landscaping and efficient drip irrigation system.
