Street art

An image of a young Jean-Michel Basquiat and a book open to a New York City wall he tagged in the 1970s are part of “Street Art,” an exhibition on view through May 1 at the University of Cincinnati’s Robert A. Deshon and Karl J. Schlachter Library for Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning . The exhibit celebrates the history of contemporary street art and culture and focuses on hip-hop, punk rock, skateboard culture, and “the underground.”
