Signing Off . . . For Now
After 12 months of serving as the Green Your Library blogger, I am stepping aside to give other talented individuals the chance to share their green stories, and to tend to family matters.
I am so grateful for having been asked to blog for American Libraries this past year, especially as I do enjoy a good challenge and new experiences, and appreciate every opportunity to learn and grow that comes my way.
I’d like to thank everyone at American Libraries who supported me this year by sharing their expertise and for giving me the chance to spread my wings. I’d like to thank those who engaged with Green Your Library by leaving comments, tweeting a post or two, or sending the “like” signal on to others. I’d like to thank the guest bloggers who shard their stories. I’d like to thank the pro-active individuals and teams across America working on making their libraries as environmentally friendly as possible.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog who enjoys writing and has something to contribute to Green Your Library so that we all can continue to learn and expand our green efforts, I hope that you will consider being a guest blogger in 2011. To express your interest in guest blogging, send an e-mail to Greg Landgraf.
I hope to contribute a guest post or two in 2011 when something exciting comes my way that I think you would appreciate knowing about, so this isn’t the last time you’ll be hearing from me. Until then, be well and keep on making it green. Laura.
