Haiti Relief Fund

As has been reported, ALA and the Massachussets Convention Center Authority, which operates the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center where Midwinter is being held, have established the MCCA/ALA Haiti Relief Fund. MCCA Executive Director Jim Rooney and ALA President Camila Alire discuss the fund in a new video; all donations received at Midwinter will be matched by MCCA as a memorial to the family members of MCCA employees lost in the tragedy. Midwinter attendees can donate January 17 and 18 at the fund table in the North Lobby.

There is currently no ALA fund for members not attending Midwinter to donate to; donations to Red Cross, Oxfam, or other charities of your choice are recommended.
