Building Community
Building Community: Boise (Idaho) Public Library
All libraries help to build their communities, of course, simply by being and by providing services and programs to all who choose to take part. These buildings, however, are notable for their community-focused features.
Boise (Idaho) Public Library’s Boise West branch is located on a previously neglected retail strip, and is intended to serve as a catalyst for community revitalization, with meeting rooms available for after-hours events and a lounge seating area with hearth.
