Reference librarian Virginia Cole served cake at Cornell University’s Olin Library April 8 as part of the 10th birthday festivities for the library’s chat reference service. She helped launch the service, which was initially available for four hours every weekend. Now it’s online 24/7 with the help of afterhours academic cooperative partners.
