Chicago Library Gets Loud
Chicago punkers Fast Decay rocked the Chicago Public Library's Richard J. Daley branch on Saturday, October 12, as part of a new program designed to bring art and music to the Bridgeport location. More than 30 people of all ages watched the band play a loud, energetic set in the library’s recreation room. Paintings and sculptures by artist Pajaro Muerto were on display as well. Jeremy Kitchen, branch manager and event organizer, promised future music and art mixers at the library, including a jazz-themed day early next year.
