ST Imaging has announced STI ViewScan, technology to access and view microfilm libraries from anywhere in the world with internet availability. Users can access and view microform remotely, and selected images can also be scanned and emailed to the viewer. Other features include: an intuitive Windows desktop application look and feel; the convenience of viewing enhanced digital live images on a PC screen before scan, capture, and output; high-quality imaging with no pixelation while redrawing pages; ability to capture 300 dpi or greater images in 1/6 second; and enhanced viewing that eliminates negative images, scratches, and dust.
